Billing across PixelProof, EntryProof, and TariffWatch

By Andy Gaber · Published August 20, 2026 · Last updated August 20, 2026

Every Digital Empire product bills independently by default. PixelProof, EntryProof, and TariffWatch each have their own Stripe subscription, their own renewal date, and their own line item on your credit card statement. This guide explains why that is, what happens when you subscribe to two or three products, and how renewals work.

Why each product has its own subscription

Every product is a separate Stripe product with its own price ID, its own trial mechanics, and its own cancellation flow. This is deliberate. If you subscribe to PixelProof in July and add EntryProof in September, we do not force an alignment charge or a proration that inflates your first EntryProof bill. Each subscription just starts on its own cycle. This matches the FTC's guidance under the FTC's amendments to the Negative Option Rule on ftc.gov: a subscriber must be able to enroll in and cancel each product independently.

The practical effect: on your card statement you will see up to three descriptors, one per product. Each descriptor uses the product name (for example PIXELPROOF SHOPIFY MONITORING), not a generic DIGITAL EMPIRE line, so a payment dispute or refund request can be tied to the exact product without needing to email support first. This mirrors the descriptor-per-product guidance in the California Attorney General's CCPA enforcement notice at oag.ca.gov which requires each subscription be individually identifiable on a customer's billing history. The Stripe documentation on statement descriptors at stripe.com/docs/payments/checkout/customer-billing-page treats the same shape as the recommended default for portfolio-style multi-product businesses.

What you pay when you subscribe to two products

Adding a second product does not discount the first. If PixelProof is 79 dollars per month and EntryProof is 49 dollars per month, your monthly recurring is 128 dollars, billed as two separate charges. Each has its own annual toggle, its own trial length, and its own dunning schedule. There is no cross-product proration, and canceling one does not affect the other.

There is no bundle. We previously sold a Founding Trio bundle that combined the three products into one annual charge; it was retired in September 2026 and is not available. If you bought a seat before then, your access is honoured -- email support and a human will sort it out.

What happens on renewal

Standalone product subscriptions renew individually on their own anniversary. If you canceled a monthly PixelProof subscription in the middle of a cycle and are still using it through the end of the cycle, the next renewal will simply not fire; there is no separate confirmation email, and no charge appears on your card.

For any annual plan, we send a renewal-notice email 14 days ahead of the charge, in line with best practices documented in the FTC's Click-to-Cancel and renewal-notice guidance on ftc.gov. You can cancel at any time from the account page at /meta-monitor/account, and access continues through the end of the paid period.

Where to see all three subscriptions in one place

Every product has its own account page at /meta-monitor/account, /cpsc-efile/account, and /tariffwatch/account. We do not currently ship a unified portfolio-wide billing dashboard, though it is on the roadmap for the M2 window. Until then, the fastest way to see every active subscription tied to your email address is to use the Stripe customer portal link on any one of the three account pages, which lists every subscription on your Stripe customer record across all three products.

FAQ

Do I get a discount for subscribing to two products? No. There is no portfolio discount and no bundle. Each product is priced on its own; the per-product annual plans are the only discount available.

What card statement descriptors will I see? One per active subscription, using the product name -- PIXELPROOF, ENTRYPROOF, or TARIFFWATCH. Never a generic DIGITAL EMPIRE line.

What happens if my card is declined on one product but not the others? Stripe retries the failed charge on its own schedule (Smart Retries). The other two products stay active through their own billing cycles unaffected. You get a dunning email from the failed product only, with a Stripe-hosted link to update the card.
