Andy Gaber, Founder
Every product on this site was written, deployed, and supported by one person. There is no growth team, no VP of engineering, no support queue routing tickets to a contractor in another timezone. If you email hello@citationsafe.com or reply to a checkout receipt, you are emailing me directly. That is the good news and the bad news, and this page exists to be honest about both sides of it before you enter a card number.
The real story
I spent the last several years running small direct-to-consumer businesses on top of the usual stack: Shopify storefronts, Meta ads, print-on-demand fulfillment, a few Etsy shops in parallel. It was the kind of operation where the platform rules moved faster than any single person could keep up with, and every quarter something a merchant took for granted stopped working. A Meta Pixel would silently break after a Shopify checkout upgrade. A CPSC rule change would land in the Federal Register and quietly make a previously legal product category require a new filing. A tariff proclamation would come out on a Friday and every importer in a niche would wake up Monday to a new duty column on the same HTS code they had been shipping under for years.
None of that is unusual. What was unusual was how little of it merchants ever heard about until their ad numbers dropped, their broker sent them a bill, or a customer complaint escalated to a regulator. The information existed. Every rule I mentioned above was published, dated, and free to read. But nobody was pushing it into the daily inbox of the people actually running a store. The compliance vendors that did exist were priced for enterprise legal departments and marketed to procurement teams. If you were the merchant answering your own customer emails at 10pm, they were not built for you.
Digital Empire Holdings LLC is the attempt to build the opposite: narrow, boring tools that monitor one specific dated regulatory or platform deadline each, tell you whether it applies to your storefront, and give you a paste-ready fix or an accurate written summary you can hand to your broker or attorney. There are three of them live right now for a deliberate reason. I do not know yet which of the three verticals will find the strongest paying-customer signal, and I would rather ship three narrow tools than one bloated platform that promises to cover everything and does none of it well. Portfolio hedging on a solo budget looks like this. If one of the three finds a real customer base in the next ninety days, it gets the roadmap and the others get maintenance mode. If none do, they all get honestly shut down and the LLC moves on to a fourth idea, rather than pretending they are all doing fine.
That is where the business honestly is today. Two paying customers between all three products, both won inside the last four weeks, both on the smallest paid tier. Monthly recurring revenue is under two hundred dollars. The LLC has never taken outside investment, never had a co-founder, and has never been acquired or offered for sale. If any of those things change, they will show up on this page with a date next to them. You are early. That is a real risk you take by buying a subscription today, and I would rather write it in the first four sentences of the About page than bury it in the terms.
What we build
- PixelProof monitors Meta Pixel, Google Analytics 4, and Google Tag Manager tracking on Shopify stores. It scans before the Shopify checkout upgrade breaks a merchant's attribution and alerts on drift afterward.
- EntryProof is a readiness checker for the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission's eFiling requirement. It cross-references your product against the CPSC eFiling program and returns a written readiness summary you can hand to your broker.
- TariffWatch surfaces Section 232 metals-tariff exposure on Harmonized Tariff Schedule codes, pulling from Federal Register proclamations and their scheduled effective dates.
- None of the three is a licensed customs broker, a filer of record, a legal-advice service, or a regulator-issued compliance certification. They are data and workflow tools. Final compliance decisions stay with your own attorney or licensed broker.
How we build
The engineering stack is deliberately unglamorous: Next.js on Vercel, Supabase for application data, Stripe for payments, Resend for transactional email, PostHog and Sentry for observability. There is no proprietary infrastructure. Every one of those vendors is listed on our data processing agreement page as a sub-processor, and any of them can be swapped out without breaking your data-export rights.
The unusual part is that the day-to-day authoring, testing, and operations work is done in partnership with the Claude Agent SDK running inside a Cowork automation environment. That means I write the specification and the acceptance tests, the agent writes and reviews the code, and I approve every deploy. It is how one person maintains three separate product surfaces in three regulatory verticals without cutting corners on things like attorney-pending policies, WCAG accessibility, and JSON-LD schema validation. It is also why the release cadence looks faster than a solo shop's should. If that combination makes you nervous, the code path for every production request is auditable end-to-end and the security disclosure address is hello@citationsafe.com.
What we won't do
Trust from a solo shop is easier to promise than to earn, so this section is the specific list of things this LLC will not do, written as commitments rather than as marketing language. Every item is enforceable against us in a chargeback dispute or a regulatory complaint.
- Never sell your data. Customer email addresses, store URLs, scan results, uploaded documents, and tariff filings are not for sale to any third party, at any price, ever. If we ever change this policy, existing customers get thirty days' notice and a full data export before the change takes effect.
- Never use your data to train models. Nothing you upload, scan, or type into a Digital Empire product is used as training data for any foundation model, our own or a third party's. Model inference calls to OpenAI, Anthropic, or any other vendor are sent with the vendor's no-training data-processing terms in effect.
- No dark-pattern subscriptions. Every paid subscription is one-click cancel from the account page, priced in a single flat line item with no add-on upsells, and never auto-renews at a rate different from the one you signed up at without explicit re-confirmation. This follows the Federal Trade Commission guidance on dark patterns and the FTC's Negative Option Rule, both of which we take as a binding floor even where not strictly required.
- Full deletion within thirty days on request. Email hello@citationsafe.com or use the in-product delete flow at /meta-monitor/account/delete or the equivalent path for the product you use. All customer records, uploaded documents, backups, and derived data are purged within thirty days, with a signed written confirmation on request.
- Cancel anytime with one click. No retention scripts, no cancel-flow friction pages designed to talk you out of it, no email verification loops before the cancellation processes. Cancellation stops billing immediately at the end of the current period and your data stays available for the ninety-day grace window per our published data-retention schedule.
- Real support, real replies. Every product email address on this site reaches me directly. Response target is under one business day for support and under three business days for privacy or deletion requests. If we miss a target, email again; it means something fell through, not that we stopped caring.
Real numbers, as of today
The section future customers usually want and almost never get. These numbers are updated manually the day this page is edited. There is no dashboard behind them yet.
- LLC formed: 2024, State of Wyoming (searchable on the Wyoming Secretary of State business filing search under "Digital Empire Holdings LLC").
- Paying customers today: 2. Both signed up in the last four weeks, both on the smallest paid tier, both from cold outbound rather than inbound search. This is a real early-access phase, not a public claim of traction.
- Products in production: 3 (PixelProof, EntryProof, TariffWatch). Each has its own status page linked from its landing page.
- Uptime commitment: 99.9% monthly on the paid tiers, measured on the application's user-facing routes and reported honestly at /security. If a paid month falls below 99.9%, affected customers get a pro-rata credit without needing to ask.
- Outside investors: None. Zero equity issued outside the founder.
- Press mentions: None as of the date of this page. When there is one, it will be linked from this section with the outlet name and the publish date, not a vague "featured in" logo strip.
- Awards or certifications: None. If we ever earn one, it will be listed here with the issuing body and the certificate number.

Why trust us (and how to verify)
Every trust claim on this site is intended to be independently verifiable. This section is the map from a claim to the page that documents it.
- Published terms and privacy policy for every product (attorney review is pending on the legal claims, and this is disclosed on each policy page): PixelProof Terms, PixelProof Privacy, EntryProof Terms, EntryProof Privacy, TariffWatch Terms, TariffWatch Privacy.
- Data Processing Agreement with the full list of sub-processors (Vercel, Supabase, Stripe, Resend, PostHog, Sentry) at /dpa.
- Security posture and responsible-disclosure program at /security, with PGP key, in-scope and out-of-scope lists, and response-time commitments.
- Breach notification commitment. If a personal-data breach happens, we notify affected users within seventy-two hours of discovery in line with GDPR Article 33, and we notify affected California residents without unreasonable delay in line with California Civil Code section 1798.82. Both timelines are enforced regardless of whether the affected user is in that jurisdiction; we treat the strictest published rule as the floor.
- Full-account deletion flows. /meta-monitor/account/delete and the equivalent paths for EntryProof and TariffWatch trigger a thirty-day full purge.
- Public product roadmaps and changelogs for each product: PixelProof roadmap, PixelProof changelog, EntryProof roadmap, TariffWatch roadmap. Roadmap items are dated and honestly reordered when priorities change.
- Editorial policy and corrections process at /editorial-policy and /corrections, so that if we make a factual error in our compliance summaries, the correction is public and dated.

What changes next
The next planned updates to this page: a real founder headshot uploaded to /founder-andy.jpg (currently a placeholder), an attorney-review sign-off on the terms and privacy policies for all three products, and the first honestly-disclosed customer testimonial with a name, a company, a job title, and a link to a public profile that confirms the person exists. No testimonial will appear on this page from an unverifiable source, and no logo strip will appear that we did not have written permission to use. When the customer count crosses ten, a hundred, or a thousand, the number in this section will change accordingly; when a paid churn happens, the total goes down and this page reflects it within a week.
About the founder photo above: it is a reserved slot referencing /founder-andy.jpg. If the image fails to load, the lettermark placeholder is shown. This is deliberate; no stock photo or generative headshot will be substituted, and no name other than Andy Gaber will ever appear in the byline of this page.
