Pricing
P0How much does PixelProof cost?
Three plans: Monitor-Only at $29/mo (alerts when your tracking breaks), Starter at $99/mo (monitoring plus fix snippets and weekly scans for one store), and Agency at $149/mo (multi-store, client-ready PDF reports). Annual billing is 25% off the monthly rate. Start with the free scan at pixeluptime.com/meta-monitor/free-scan — no email required — and see what's broken before you pay anything.
P0Is there a free trial?
Yes — 7 days of full access to everything, no feature gates. We run it as a "reverse trial": after day 7 you drop to a free plan (1 store, 1 manual scan per month) instead of losing access entirely. You'll see at least one full monitoring cycle and a delta digest before you ever hit a paywall.
P0What's your refund policy?
Annual plans have a 30-day money-back window, no questions asked. Monthly plans don't advertise a refund window — the 7-day free trial exists so you never pay before you've seen it work — but if something genuinely went wrong, email support@enforceintel.com and we'll make it right. We'd rather refund you than argue.
P0Can I cancel anytime?
Yes, and it is self-serve at /account -- enter your email, we send a one-time link that expires in 15 minutes, and you cancel from there. You keep access through the end of the paid period. No retention maze, no phone call, and no email to support required. Your scan history stays attached to your account if you come back.
P1Do you charge per store or per scan?
Per plan. Starter covers one store with unlimited scans. Agency covers multiple stores under one bill — that's the plan for freelancers and agencies managing client stores. We don't meter individual scans on paid plans; the free tier is the only place scans are capped (1/month).
P1Is there a discount for annual billing?
Yes — annual is 25% off the monthly rate, so Starter works out to $891/yr instead of $1,188, and Agency to $1,341/yr instead of $1,788. Annual is the default at checkout, but monthly is right there if you'd rather test the waters first.
P1Do you offer agency or multi-client pricing?
That's exactly what the $149/mo Agency tier is. Multi-store monitoring, one dashboard, one invoice, and white-label-ish PDF audit reports you can hand to clients. If you're managing 10+ stores, email support@enforceintel.com and we'll talk about a custom arrangement.
P1Can I get an invoice for my accounting team?
Yes. Every charge generates a proper Stripe invoice with your company name, address, and VAT/tax ID if you add them — downloadable as PDF from your billing page. Payments are card via Stripe; annual plans over a certain size can arrange bank transfer.
P2What happens to my data if I downgrade to free?
Nothing gets deleted. Your scan history, alert log, and store config stay intact — you just drop to 1 store and 1 manual scan/month, and recurring monitoring pauses. Upgrade later and monitoring picks back up the same day.
P2Is the Founding Trio bundle still available?
The Founding Trio bundle is retired. It was a one-time bundle of PixelProof, EntryProof, and TariffWatch, and it is no longer sold — not sold out, not waitlisted, withdrawn. Each product is bought on its own; current pricing is on /pricing. If you already paid for a seat, your access is honoured — email support and a human will answer.
Trust & security
P0What access does PixelProof need to my store?
Read-only. The scanner reads your storefront's public pages and the tracking events they fire — the same thing any shopper's browser sees. We never ask for your Shopify admin password, we can't edit your theme, and we can't touch orders or customer records. On Starter and Agency, detectable storefront findings can include paste-ready fix snippets you apply yourself. Monitor-Only has no fix snippets. We never write to your store.
P0Do you see my customers' personal data?
No. We inspect event *structure* — did a Purchase event fire, was the value right, was it deduplicated — not shopper identities. We don't collect your customers' names, emails, or payment details, and we have no reason to. Your customer data stays between you, Shopify, and Meta.
P0Are you GDPR compliant?
Yes, in the honest sense: we collect minimal data (your email, your store URL, scan results), we'll export or delete everything we hold on you on request at support@enforceintel.com, and we don't sell data to anyone. We're a US company (Wyoming LLC) using EU-standard contractual clauses with our processors (Stripe, Vercel, Supabase).
P0Are you SOC 2 certified?
Not yet — straight answer. We're a small company and a SOC 2 Type II audit is on the roadmap, not on the wall. What we do have: all payments handled by Stripe (PCI DSS Level 1 — card numbers never touch our servers), data encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest (AES-256), and read-only access to everything we monitor. Happy to walk your security reviewer through the architecture.
P1Where is my data stored?
US-based cloud infrastructure: Vercel for the app, Supabase (Postgres) for data, both encrypted at rest. Payment data lives entirely inside Stripe. Scan results and alert history are the bulk of what we store — deliberately boring data.
P1What does the Chrome extension actually do on my browser?
It reads tracking events on Shopify pages you visit and flags problems — that's it. Manifest V3, minimal permissions, no browsing-history harvesting, no background data collection off Shopify domains. The full permission list is on the Chrome Web Store listing, and the extension does nothing on non-store pages.
P2Who's behind PixelProof?
Digital Empire Holdings LLC, a Wyoming company. Small team, founder-run, which means the person answering your support email is the person who can actually fix your problem — usually within 12 business hours.
P2What happens to my data if I cancel?
Your account and scan history are retained for 90 days in case you return, then purged. Want it gone sooner? One email to support@enforceintel.com and we hard-delete within 30 days, confirmation included.
Technical
P0How does PixelProof actually work?
We load your store the way a real shopper would, walk the funnel, and verify every Meta Pixel and Conversions API event: does Purchase fire, is the value correct, are events deduplicated between browser and server, did the checkout migration break anything. Then we re-check on a recurring schedule and alert you when a check finds something broken — usually before your ROAS craters.
P0How long does setup take?
Under five minutes. Paste your store URL, run the first scan, done. No code to install, no theme edits, no Shopify app permissions to grant. The Chrome extension is optional and adds real-time checking while you browse your own store.
P0What exactly do you detect?
Missing Purchase events, wrong or zeroed event values, duplicate events inflating your numbers, browser/server dedup failures, events lost in the Checkout Extensibility migration, consent-mode misfires, and pixels that silently died after a theme or app update. Each finding comes with plain-English impact and a fix snippet on paid plans.
P0Does it work with Shopify's new Checkout Extensibility?
Yes — that migration is *why* we exist. When Shopify retired checkout.liquid customizations, thousands of stores lost purchase tracking without any error message. We verify your events on the new checkout surfaces, and monitoring catches regressions every time Shopify or an app updates something.
P1Does PixelProof fix problems automatically?
No, and on purpose — we don't write to your store. Paid plans give you copy-paste fix snippets with instructions for the common breakages, and the report is specific enough that your developer (or Shopify support) can act on it immediately. Read-only access is a feature, not a limitation.
P1How often do scans run?
Continuous monitoring on paid plans with a weekly deep scan and delta digest, plus on-demand scans anytime. During your 7-day trial the monitor runs on day 1 and day 7, so you see a full monitoring cycle before deciding.
P1Do you support the Conversions API (server-side events)?
Yes. We check that browser and server events are firing, matching, and deduplicating correctly — dedup failures are one of the most expensive silent bugs we see, because Meta double-counts your conversions and your optimization goes sideways.
P1Does it work with GA4, TikTok Pixel, or Google Ads tags?
Today we're Meta + Shopify, deliberately deep instead of shallow-everywhere. TikTok and GA4 coverage are on the roadmap and driven by customer votes — tell us what you need at support@enforceintel.com and you'll influence the order.
P2Do I need the Chrome extension, or does the web app do everything?
The web app does the scanning and monitoring on its own. The extension adds live, in-browser event inspection while you click through your store — great for debugging a specific flow — but it's a bonus, not a requirement.
P2Will PixelProof slow down my storefront?
No. We scan from our side like a visitor; we install nothing on your store. Zero scripts, zero theme weight, zero effect on your page speed score.
Comparison
P0How is this different from Elevar?
Elevar (branded "Audiense Online (Elevar)") builds and manages your tracking: implementation, server-side, data layer. Its published plans are Core $225/mo, Advanced $650/mo, Premium $1,250/mo and Elite from $3,000/mo (audiense.com/products/audiense-online/pricing, checked September 14, 2026). PixelProof *watches* your tracking and screams when it breaks. Plenty of stores run both: Elevar sets it up, PixelProof verifies it stays up. We're the $29-99 answer to "is my pixel actually working right now?"
P0Why not just use Meta Events Manager's Test Events tool?
Test Events is a manual, in-the-moment check you open and run yourself. PixelProof is the automated version of the same discipline: we re-run the check on a fixed cadence without anyone remembering to, email you when a Purchase event stops arriving, and flag duplicate-inflated values. Use Test Events when you're actively debugging; use us so nobody has to remember.
P1My agency handles our tracking — why would I need this?
Then use us to verify your agency. Agencies are good at setup and bad at noticing week-3 breakage — nobody re-tests a "done" pixel. A $29 Monitor-Only plan is cheap insurance on a retainer that costs 50-100x that. Several agencies run PixelProof on their own clients for exactly this reason (that's the $149 tier).
P1Isn't Shopify's own analytics enough?
Shopify tells you what Shopify saw. It cannot tell you what *Meta* received — and Meta's ad delivery optimizes on Meta's data, not Shopify's. When those two disagree, your ROAS reporting and your bidding both go wrong quietly. That gap is exactly what we watch.
P1What about free pixel checker extensions (Meta Pixel Helper)?
Meta Pixel Helper is a free browser extension for troubleshooting the page you happen to be looking at. PixelProof does a different job: scheduled re-checks across your storefront and checkout, a history you can look back through, and an email when something changes. It's a flashlight; we're a smoke detector. Use both — the flashlight is free and we're not offended.
P2How do you compare against hiring a developer to audit us?
A one-time developer audit runs $500-2,000 and is stale the day after your next app update. We're $29-99/mo forever-current. Best combo: run our free scan first, then hand the findings to your dev — you'll pay them for fixes, not for discovery.
P2Triple Whale / Northbeam already show me attribution — same thing?
No — different layer. Attribution platforms analyze the data your pixel sends; we verify the pixel is sending the right data in the first place. Attribution sits downstream of the event layer, so a broken Purchase event feeds them the same wrong numbers it feeds everyone else.
Objections
P0My pixel is working fine. Why pay for this?
Maybe! Run the free scan — no email, two minutes, pixeluptime.com/meta-monitor/free-scan. If you're clean, you've lost nothing and gained peace of mind. The ugly failures (dedup failures, zeroed values) don't throw errors anywhere you'd see. That's the whole problem: broken tracking looks like working tracking.
P0$99/mo seems expensive for a monitoring tool.
Compare it to the failure it prevents: a store spending $10K/mo on Meta ads with a dead Purchase event burns that budget on un-optimized delivery within days. One caught breakage pays for years of PixelProof. And if $99 is genuinely heavy for your ad spend, that's what the $29 Monitor-Only tier is for.
P0You're new. Why should I trust a product this young?
Fair. Three honest answers: the free scan means you verify us before paying; we're read-only so the blast radius of trusting us is near zero; and the 7-day full trial plus 30-day annual refund means the risk sits with us, not you. Judge us on the scan results, not our age.
P1We already migrated to Checkout Extensibility and everything worked.
Migration day is one moment. Every Shopify update, theme change, and app install after it is a fresh chance to break tracking — and the breakage is silent. "It worked in August" is not "it works in November." That's why the product is monitoring, not a one-off audit.
P1I'll just check it manually once a month.
A month of broken Purchase events at even modest ad spend costs more than a year of PixelProof — and manual checks miss server-side dedup issues almost every time. If you truly will do a rigorous manual check monthly, our free tier gives you one scan a month to do it with. Most people don't, which is fine — that's what we're for.
P1We use GA4 for everything; Meta tracking isn't a priority.
If you run zero Meta ads, agreed — we're not your tool. If you spend anything on Meta, delivery optimization runs on Meta's events regardless of where you do reporting. Broken Meta events don't hurt your dashboards, they hurt your bidding — which is worse, because nobody's looking there.
P2Can't I build this in-house?
Sure — headless browser, funnel walker, event interception, dedup logic, alerting, and someone to maintain it every time Shopify or Meta ships a change. Call it a week of dev time to build and a permanent tax to maintain. We're $99/mo. Your dev has better things to do.
P2I'm worried this is another subscription I forget about.
That's a real pattern, so: cancel is self-serve, the weekly digest keeps proving value (or its absence) in your inbox, and if a digest ever shows "nothing found" for months, cancel with our blessing — the free tier will still catch fire alarms.
Legal & compliance
P1Are you affiliated with Meta or Shopify?
No. PixelProof is an independent product of Digital Empire Holdings LLC. "Meta" and "Shopify" are their owners' trademarks; we're a third-party tool that monitors how your store talks to their platforms. No partnership implied — which also means we can be honest about both.
P1Does using PixelProof affect my own GDPR/CCPA obligations to shoppers?
No — we don't add any tracking to your store, so we add nothing to your disclosure burden. Your obligations for the Meta Pixel itself (consent banners, privacy policy disclosures) exist with or without us. We actually help here: our scans flag events firing *before* consent, a common CCPA/GDPR foot-gun.
P1Who owns the scan reports and data?
You do. Your scan history, PDF reports, and alert logs are yours to export, share with clients, or delete. We use aggregate, anonymized breakage stats to improve detection — never your store's identifiable data in marketing without written permission.
P2Is your alerting a guarantee that nothing will ever break?
No, and we won't pretend otherwise. Our terms are clear: PixelProof is a monitoring tool, not an insurance policy — we detect and alert on the failure classes we test for, and we keep expanding those. What we guarantee is honest effort and fast support, not omniscience.
P2Do you have a DPA (Data Processing Agreement) we can sign?
Yes — email support@enforceintel.com and we'll countersign our standard DPA covering the limited data we process (your account info and scan results). Since we don't process your shoppers' personal data, it's a mercifully short document.
P2What terms do I agree to at checkout?
Standard ToS and the refund policy, shown at checkout with a required checkbox — we record the version you accepted with a timestamp. No auto-renew surprises: annual renewals get an email heads-up before the charge.
