PixelProof Monitor-Only — $29/mo to keep watching one store

By Andy Gaber, Founder, Digital Empire Holdings LLC · Published September 12, 2026 · Last updated September 14, 2026

Monitor-Only is the primary paid path on pixeluptime.com. A free storefront scan is one-shot. Paid Monitor re-runs that same public-HTML presence check on a recurring schedule and emails you when findings change.

Start Monitor-Only — $29/mo
Add to Chrome
Run the free one-shot scan first

Monthly is the primary SKU. Annual is a labeled option — $261/yr prepaid (25% off), not a secret $22/mo plan and not a silent default on this page. Detect and watch first. Not 24/7. Not an App Store install, not Built for Shopify, and not an auto-fix.

Soft-limit honesty. This browser gets 3 free scans, plus 2 more if you leave an email, then a ~24-hour cooldown. When the budget is used we ask you to start Monitor-Only or come back later. We do not hard-lock the product, invent remaining seats, or call the next scan “premium locked.” If localStorage is missing (private mode), the gate fails open so you can still scan.

Who
Shopify operators — the person who owns the pixel after a theme, checkout, or consent change. PixelProof is a storefront detector from Digital Empire Holdings LLC.
How
Recurring public-HTML presence checks on a schedule, then email when findings change. Not fake 24/7. Not checkout X-ray.
Why
Theme deploys, checkout upgrades, and consent apps drop loaders without a storefront error. Watch after the change — a one-shot scan is not enough.

Who — Digital Empire and PixelProof, for operators

PixelProof is a storefront tracking detector from Digital Empire Holdings LLC (30 N Gould St Ste N, Sheridan WY 82801), built by Andy Gaber. We fetch the public HTML of a URL you paste and report whether Meta Pixel, GA4, GTM, and a few other loaders are still visible. This page is for a Shopify operator who owns the pixel after a theme deploy, checkout upgrade, or consent-app publish — not a media-buyer attribution tour.

We are not listed on the Shopify App Store, not Built for Shopify, and not a Meta or Shopify partner program. Support is support@pixeluptime.com. There is no in-app chat team and no fabricated install-count badge.

How — recurring checks, not fake 24/7

  1. Same public-HTML presence scan. Paid Monitor re-runs fetchStorefrontHtml() + scanHtml() — one document, ~8 second timeout, 2 MB cap. Loader signatures only. Zero LLM calls. No Shopify admin login.
  2. Recurring schedule, then email. The live SKU lists a weekly Meta + Shopify monitor. That is a scheduled re-check and a delta email when findings change — not a 24/7 probe, not overnight checkout walking, and not Ads Manager. Marketing that says “always on” would be fake. We will not claim it.
  3. We label the gap. Checkout, Thank You, Order Status, and Additional Scripts stay canVerifyFromStorefront: false. Recurrence does not secretly switch to a deeper crawler.

Full rule list: /meta-monitor/methodology. The contract is recurring + alert, not a promise we watched checkout overnight.

Why — after theme, checkout, or consent breaks

A theme deploy, Shopify checkout upgrade, consent banner, GTM publish, or campaign tag can drop Meta Pixel or GA4 loaders with no storefront error. Shopify retired Additional Scripts and legacy checkout.liquid tracking for non-Plus stores on August 26, 2026. Ads Manager can still show “Connected” while the public HTML you thought was stable has changed.

That is why operators start Monitor after the change, not as a one-shot audit. A green free scan is presence on one page at one moment. Monitor keeps that same check on a schedule so a later theme, checkout, or consent break is emailed — not invented as checkout X-ray, not a fix pack, and not a guaranteed ROAS recovery.

What a synced browser result looks like

Both panels below are synthetic fixture data, not a customer store and not a case study. They are rendered by the same code path that renders a real sync, so what you see is the real shape of the output.

Example 1 — the buckets disagree. The markup does not contain the Meta Pixel loader string; the browser loaded it anyway. A markup-only scanner calls this “pixel missing”. It is not missing. Both rows are kept, because the disagreement is the useful part.

Read out of the page markup only. Markup cannot tell you whether a tag actually fired, fired twice, or was blocked. This scan fetched your storefront HTML from a server. It never ran your page, so it cannot tell you which pixels actually fired, which fired twice, or whether Consent Mode is wired. Those answers live in the other bucket, and only a browser can fill it.

What this result could not see

  • Shopify Checkout Extensibility runs web pixels inside sandboxed frames with their own network context. We can count those frames; we cannot read inside them. Anything that fired only in checkout is outside what this result can speak to.
  • Shop Pay hands the buyer off to shop.app, which is deliberately not in this extension’s host permissions. We did not watch that hop and we are not claiming anything about it.
  • We could not verify checkout. Nothing wrong showed up in what we could see, and that is a different statement from “checkout is fine”.

1 finding(s) arrived claiming a critical severity without citing an observation. They are shown above at a lower severity rather than dropped, so you can see what was claimed and why it was not accepted.

Keep watching this store — $29/mo

Monitor-Only re-runs the public HTML presence scan on a schedule and emails you when those findings change — $29/mo or $261/yr billed annually. It does not re-run the browser observation above: that only happens when you open a store page with the extension installed. Buying Monitor does not turn the browser bucket into a scheduled check, and we would rather say so here than let you find out after paying.

Example 2 — we were not allowed to look. The browser bucket is empty. The honest output is a limitation, not an invented finding.

Nothing was observed in the browser for this page. That is not the same as “nothing is wrong” — a tag can live in an app embed, in Additional Scripts, behind a delayed load, or in checkout only. We are reporting the gap in our view rather than inventing a defect to fill it.

Two kinds of evidence, and which one this SKU gives you

Every PixelProof finding comes from one of two places, and they do not carry the same weight. Monitor fills the first one only.

seen in public HTML
Read out of the page markup only. Markup cannot tell you whether a tag actually fired, fired twice, or was blocked. This scan fetched your storefront HTML from a server. It never ran your page, so it cannot tell you which pixels actually fired, which fired twice, or whether Consent Mode is wired. Those answers live in the other bucket, and only a browser can fill it.
seen in browser
Observed while the page was actually running in a browser: a real network request, a real global, or a real consent call. That is the Chrome extension’s job, not Monitor’s: it runs on a store page you have open and records which tracking requests actually went out, whether two tag containers loaded on the same page, and whether a Consent Mode default was set before tags ran. It cannot read inside Shopify’s Web Pixels sandbox or verify checkout, and it labels every scan accordingly.

The two are complementary and the results are never merged into one list. Monitor tells you when your storefront markup changed while you were not looking; the extension tells you what your store is actually doing right now. The install CTA for the extension is the single secondary one further down this page — this section deliberately does not add a second, because a money page with two install buttons competing with its own checkout is a worse page.

What Monitor-Only actually watches

Monitor-Only is $29/mo for 1 store. Live features from PRICING_TIERS: Weekly Meta + Shopify monitor; Break alerts by email; No fix snippets; No PDF reports. That is the SKU — we do not invent extra stores, a deeper crawler, or a silent snippet library on this tier.

  • One store. The cap is real. Need more? Starter is $99/mo for 3 stores with paste-ready snippets. Agency is $149/mo for 15 stores plus PDF reports. Contrast only; this page sells Monitor-Only.
  • Weekly Meta + Shopify monitor. Same fetchStorefrontHtml() + scanHtml() pair as the free scan. Paid does not secretly switch to checkout X-ray or Ads Manager. How the scan works lives on the methodology.
  • Break alerts by email. When storefront findings change after a theme, consent, campaign, or loader change, we email you. An alert is a delta notice — not a fix we applied, and not proof a Purchase event fired.
  • No fix snippets. No PDF reports. Those ship on Starter and Agency for detectable storefront findings. Monitor-Only watches. You still paste and verify if you upgrade.

Monitor vs the free one-shot scan

A free scan is one public page, one result, then you leave. Paid Monitor stores the snapshot and re-runs that same storefront presence scan on a recurring schedule, then emails when findings change. Marketing copy calls this a weekly monitor; the contract is recurring + alert, not a promise that we walked checkout or Ads Manager overnight.

The free scan does not log into Shopify admin or Meta Events Manager, does not open checkout, and does not prove events fired — only that a loader signature was (or was not) present in that HTML. Monitor inherits those limits. Recurrence is the product, not a different scanner. Limits and refunds are spelled out on the FAQ.

Soft limit, trial, and cancel honesty

Free scans are a soft paywall, not a brick wall. The standalone free-scan page also uses a short-lived session cookie (one scan per hour) as a separate abuse control — still not a paywall brick.

Checkout attaches a 7-day trial on Monitor-Only. Cancel before day 8 and you should not be charged — see Account → Subscription. After a paid month starts, Terms 3.4 is the refund policy. Soft-paywall free scans keep working after you cancel — they were never a paid entitlement. No retention maze and no phone call required.

Pricing — $29/mo or $261/yr

  • Monitor-Only $29/mo for 1 store: weekly monitor, break alerts, no snippets, no PDF. That is the monthly SKU and the primary CTA on this page.
  • Annual billing is a labeled option, 25% off: $261/yr prepaid. Use the pricing-page toggle if you want annual. That is not a secret $22/mo plan and not a silent default here — monthly is $29/mo, annual is $261/yr.
  • Starter $99/mo and Agency $149/mo sit on the same grid if you need snippets or more stores. Contrast only. This page is Monitor-Only.

Live Stripe checkout is the pricing deep-link /meta-monitor/pricing?checkout=monitor_only&utm_source=site&utm_medium=monitor_page&utm_campaign=pp_monitor&utm_content=monitor_money_page. We do not invent a second price.

What we will not claim on this page

  • Not listed on the Shopify App Store, not Built for Shopify, not an official partner.
  • Not an auto-fix. We do not write to your theme, install an app, or push pixels.
  • No clearance, compliance certification, or guaranteed ROAS recovery.
  • No fabricated install or review counts, and no fake remaining-seat countdown.
  • Not 24/7 monitoring and not a promise we walked checkout overnight.

PixelProof is a compliance monitoring service, not a certification or legal advice service. Monitoring cannot guarantee 100% detection of every pixel breakage or Meta API deprecation. Merchants remain responsible for their own tracking compliance.

Questions we would rather answer plainly

What is the difference between a free scan and paid Monitor?

A free scan is one-shot: one public page, one result, then you leave. Paid Monitor re-runs that same storefront presence scan on a recurring schedule and emails you when findings change after a theme, consent, campaign, or loader change. Monitor does not suddenly gain checkout X-ray vision — it watches the same public HTML surface over time. That is the product: detect and keep watching, not a one-time “we fixed it for you” engagement.

Is the free-scan limit a hard lock?

No. PixelProof uses a soft paywall: this browser gets a small number of free scans (3, plus 2 more if you leave an email), then a nudge toward Monitor-Only at $29/mo. After about 24 hours the free budget can reset. If localStorage is unavailable (private mode, blocked storage), the gate fails open — we do not brick the scanner. The /meta-monitor/free-scan landing also rate-limits to one scan per hour per session cookie. None of that is fake scarcity or a “locked premium” wall.

How much does Monitor-Only cost versus Agency?

Monitor-Only is $29/mo for one store: recurring storefront monitoring and email break alerts. No fix snippets, no PDF reports. Agency is $149/mo for up to 15 stores under one bill, with the same detect/monitor job plus paste-ready snippets for detectable storefront findings and PDF reports. Starter sits in the middle at $99/mo for up to 3 stores with snippets. Annual billing is 25% off (Monitor-Only $261/yr, Starter $891/yr, Agency $1,341/yr). Live Stripe checkout is on /meta-monitor/pricing — including a Monitor-Only deep link at ?checkout=monitor_only.

Is there a free trial or a refund?

Checkout currently attaches a 7-day trial on paid plans (including Monitor-Only). Cancel before day 8 and you should not be charged — see Account → Subscription. After a paid month starts, Terms 3.4 is the refund policy: a first-month refund window if the product does not earn its keep, and a 60-day pro-rated window on annual charges. We do not guarantee a dollar amount of recovered ad spend. Read /meta-monitor/terms before you pay; email support@pixeluptime.com if something went wrong.

Are you listed on the Shopify App Store or Built for Shopify?

No. PixelProof is a web scanner and scheduled monitor. We do not claim Shopify App Store listing, Built for Shopify, official partner status, or a public install/review count. If that badge matters for procurement, we are the wrong checkbox — and we would rather say so than fake it.

How do I get support?

Email support@pixeluptime.com. That is the only support inbox. There is no in-app chat team and no Shopify App Store review thread. We are a small company: expect a human reply, not a 24/7 SLA.
